It's Not About Us, It's ALL about Jesus!

Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church was founded in Bessemer, Alabama as a religious order that supports spiritually and socially disadvantaged individuals, couples, and families through Christ-centered ministry programs and faith-based growth. 

Since then, Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church has expanded the scope of its community services to include prevention & rehabilitation, community outreach, as well as, affordable Childcare facilities for busy families. 

The Believer's needs, and those of our community seem to be growing by the day, and we have recently expanded to meet these needs. Over the years, we have learned that what people sometimes need the most is someone who will listen to their concerns- someone they can turn to for support when the going gets tough, and how to apply what has been ministered to your daily life. And that's what Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church is all about.
