MEMBERSHIP

“So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.” Acts 2:46-47

A Church Membership is a pledge of Baptized Brothers and Sisters uniting under the principles of JESUS CHRIST. Therefore, membership means PARTNERSHIP not ownership. Membership should not be taken lightly or for granted. Your Church Membership should be treated sacredly, and should be much deeper to you than just having your name on roll.

Membership affords certain rights to those who unite with us here at Shady Grove MBC. Our membership should dictate our works and dedication to the church. So we must be strong enough and spiritual enough to effectively commit to our obligations as elements of praise and receive favor from God.
